La Marzocco | KB90 AV and ABR

The KB90 is by far one of the most impressive technologies across this level of espresso machine.

Often we see gimmicks in coffee but tech the KB90 is an example of clever thinking by coffee experienced and passionate people.

Most obvious is its "Straight In" portafilter design. The workflow, time saving and strain on the barista are measurably improved compared to standard twist portafilters, baristas and shop owners who use these will never go back after experiencing it.

The KB90 also has a clever steam and water flush which automatically clean the coffee screen between shots while the barista is looking after next steps and ensuring no left over residue from previous shots and ensuring best tasting espresso from cup to cup.

Add the Auto Brew Ratio (ABR) to guarantee exact weight of shots accurate to the gram every cup, leaving less for the barista to worry about and speeding up morning dial in routines. As a roaster this function goes a long way to make sure our coffee is being brewed correctly in shops around the country.
